What excites you most about the fellowship program: I’m excited to apply the epidemiological skills I’ve developed during my MPH program to real-world public health challenges. I look forward to continuing to learn and make meaningful contributions as a public health professional.

What do you love most about epidemiology: I love that epidemiology embodies all the core values of public health, while allowing me to work with numbers and complete analyses. I enjoy that it is challenging and requires problem solving. 

Epi Interests: Maternal and Child Health, STDs, and Environmental 

Hobbies and favorite pastimes: Reading, scrapbooking and going on walks. 

Fun fact: I was born in Holguin, Cuba.
