I am excited to strengthen my skills, learn from other experienced public health professionals, and use data to help improve the health of the communities we serve.

What do you love most about epidemiology: What I love most about epidemiology is being able to look at data, understand what is happening in a community, and figure out how we can help. I enjoy finding patterns and using that information to support better health outcomes for the people who need it most.

Epi Interests: My interests within epidemiology include chronic disease, infectious disease, and women’s health. I am especially interested in understanding health disparities and using data to help improve outcomes for communities that may be at greater risk.

Fun Fact: I am a 1st degree black belt in martial arts.
