What excites you most about the fellowship program: The opportunity to apply the skills I’ve gained during graduate school to real-world public health practice while learning from experienced epidemiologists at DeKalb County Public Health. I’m excited to apply my skills in surveillance, data analysis, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

What do you love most about epidemiology: The ability to use data to answer meaningful public health questions and improve health outcomes. I enjoy collecting and analyzing data to better identify patterns of disease and risk factors, then translating those findings into evidence-based actions that help prevent illness and promote healthier communities.

Epi Interests: My interests within the field of epidemiology is infectious disease primarily vector borne diseases and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

Hobbies and favorite pastimes: My favorite pastime is settling down to watch my favorite TV shows, running/ working out, cooking a meal, and hanging out with friends.

Fun fact: I knew how to cut patterns and sew.
