What excites you most about the fellowship program: Gaining active experience in outbreak investigation management and timely spatial analyses is exciting! I view this fellowship as an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with partner agencies at all administrative levels at the beginning of my epidemiology career.
What excites you most about working in your assigned health district:
What do you love most about epidemiology: I love that epidemiology has an innate purpose to better understand public health patterns. It is inspiring how innovations impact communities at the local level.
Epi Interests: Infectious Diseases, Food Insecurity, Humanitarian Emergency Response, Maternal and Child Health
Hobbies and favorite pastimes: I am an avid reader and spend most of the summer swimming, paddle-boarding, or kayaking.
Fun fact: I am a big believer in late afternoon ‘tea-time’.
