What excites you most about the fellowship program: One aspect about joining this fellowship program that I am excited about is working on projects that can improve the health of communities in the coastal region and give back to the city that I love! Another exciting part of this fellowship is being able to develop professional skills through applying my academic knowledge to realistic situations.

What do you love most about epidemiology: There are so many characteristics of epidemiology that I love. I enjoy the challenge of the field from the puzzles that are presented. The subsequent process of using data with best practices to help improve the health of populations through providing explanations or causes for why a certain trend may be present is particularly of interest to me.

Epi Interests: Infectious Diseases; Infection Control; Disaster Epidemiology; Chronic Diseases

Hobbies and favorite pastimes: When indoors, I enjoy junk journaling, paint-by-numbers, reading books, and learning languages. While outside, I like to hike and paddle board!
